This article covers Moon Salt, one of the Legendary Recipes in Potion Craft.
It explains the Chapter where the recipe can be purchased, its effects, and key points to keep in mind when crafting it, so be sure to use this guide to help with your playthrough.
Moon Salt
The recipe becomes available for purchase in The Alchemist's Path: Chapter Ⅶ, and can be bought from the fellow alchemist
.
After purchasing it, you will be able to craft it using the Advanced Alchemy Machine in the Basement.
Effects
It has the effect of tilting the bottle counterclockwise.
Many rare effect nodes near the outer edges of the Water Map, as well as most effect nodes on the Oil Map, are tilted. By matching that tilt using Moon Salt, you can enhance them to Level II and III.
If the bottle is tilted to the left, Moon Salt is a good fit. However, if the tilt is to the right, its counterclockwise nature becomes a drawback, as it ends up consuming more salt.
Conversely, if you have Sun Salt, which tilts the bottle clockwise, you can efficiently handle right-leaning recipes. However, since there is a gap before you can craft Sun Salt after unlocking Moon Salt, there are situations where you may still aim for rare effects using Moon Salt despite the inefficiency.
It is essential for crafting higher-tier Legendary Substances and various Salts.
Consumption is 500 when tilted straight downward, and 1,000 for a full rotation. The initial capacity is 10,000. (This can be increased through Talents.)
The Ingredient’s Path Also Tilts

You can forcibly bend the ingredient’s path like this.
However, there are three important points to keep in mind.
① The bottle’s tilt gradually returns to its original angle when using Add Base
Because of this behavior, the route you had planned may end up deviating.
② You must use salt again within the Effect area to create a high-rarity potion
There is no issue at Level I, but if you want to craft at Level II or III, you need to apply salt within the Effect area to match the tilt.
③ You need to keep an eye on your salt stock
Shortly after your first batches are produced, using salt too freely can quickly lead to depletion.
Once your salt recipes have been improved and mass production becomes easier, that’s a good time to start experimenting.
How to Use
Pick it up from your inventory and pour it into the Cauldron.
The closer you move it to the Cauldron, the faster it pours, so be careful when making fine adjustments.

should be made on the Oil Map.
All other recipes can be crafted on the Water Map without any issues.
Don’t Forget to Save the Recipe
You can save the recipe for the salt itself once the brewing process is complete, rather than the potion recipes used during crafting, so make sure to have the recipe page open.
If you learn the Talent 【Salt Specialist】 in advance, the amount of salt produced will increase, making it highly recommended.
Having the Talent 【Bulk Brewing】 will also refund a portion of the materials consumed during your next brewing session.
