This article covers Philosopher's Salt, one of the Legendary Recipes in Potion Craft.
It explains the Chapter where the recipe can be purchased, its effects, and key points to keep in mind when crafting it, so be sure to use this guide to help with your playthrough.
Philosopher's Salt
The recipe becomes available for purchase in The Alchemist's Path: Chapter Ⅹ, and can be bought from the fellow alchemist
.
After purchasing it, you will be able to craft it using the Advanced Alchemy Machine in the Basement.
Effects
It automatically moves the bottle to the nearest effect and also adjusts its tilt.
As you would expect from the final Salt, it has almost cheat-like performance—but it does come with drawbacks.
The initial capacity is only 5,000, which is not particularly high. In terms of consumption, reaching Heal III on the Water Map uses roughly 400–500.
In other words, one full set of Philosopher’s Salt allows for movement and tilt adjustment equivalent to about 11 Heal III routes.
Because it always moves toward the nearest effect via the shortest path, it will unfortunately attempt to push straight through skull walls. Since this is movement rather than teleportation, the attempt will fail if the bottle’s durability reaches zero.
How to Use
Pick it up from your inventory and pour it into the Cauldron.
The closer you move it to the Cauldron, the faster it pours, so be careful when making fine adjustments.
Tips for Crafting
Tips for crafting combined potions are explained in the article below.

Unprecedentedly Time-Consuming
You will end up running back and forth across the map, making this process quite demanding.
Even if you try to plan routes carefully while checking effect locations, it may be mentally easier to ignore efficiency to some extent and push forward using Crystal as needed.

are the three sets best crafted on the Oil Map.
Everything else works fine on the Water Map, but once the Wine Map is unlocked later, there will be room to further optimize those recipes.
Don’t Forget to Save the Recipe
You can save the recipe for the salt itself once the brewing process is complete, rather than the potion recipes used during crafting, so make sure to have the recipe page open.
If you learn the Talent 【Salt Specialist】 in advance, the amount of salt produced will increase, making it highly recommended.
Having the Talent 【Bulk Brewing】 will also refund a portion of the materials consumed during your next brewing session.
