Walkthrough for Chapter 3 “Carnevale” – Late.
This guide is written from a single-player perspective, but the mechanics of each floor, collectibles such as Dolls, and combat details are explained with images so co-op players can benefit as well.

Things to Know
Collect 10 Dolls to Unlock an Achievement
A total of 10 Dolls are hidden throughout Carnevale, and collecting all of them will unlock the achievement “Token Gestures”.
In this Late walkthrough, you can find three of them at points ⑧⑬⑭. The remaining seven can be found in the Early walkthrough.
Destroy 10 Lady Statues to Unlock an Achievement
←Lady Statue
A total of 10 Lady Statues are hidden throughout Carnevale, and destroying all of them will unlock the achievement “Omnipresence”.
In this Late walkthrough, you can find all of them at points ①③⑥×2⑧⑨⑩⑫⑱⑲. None appear in the Early walkthrough.
What about the Nomes?

There are no Nomes to hug in this Late walkthrough, so if you're looking for them, please refer to the Carnevale Early walkthrough.
Carnevale (Late) Walkthrough
①(Lady Statue Point)
Before climbing the net and riding the zipline, head in the opposite direction and destroy the Lady Statue first.

After the zipline, pull the cart in the front-left over behind the man, and slip past him while he’s distracted by the food.

③(Lady Statue Point)
You can crouch and sneak through the plaza with the two Dolls, but you can also take them out one by one using the Bow and Wrench.
There is a Lady Statue in the back-right corner, so make sure to destroy it.

Shoot the small wooden target to close the bucket and create a path upward, then climb the ladder and move along the metal beams on the ceiling.
Once outside, push the cart together and slip through the gap. From there, proceed while always staying crouched until you reach the back.


⑤Part 1
Once you reach the jukebox room, drop down under the floor and move to the right. When you’re outside, climb the crates and rope to enter the room with the Fuse.
The shelf holding the Fuse will break if you shoot the point marked ① twice with the Bow, so pick up the fallen Fuse and toss it into the jukebox room at ② before moving on.
Bring the Fuse from the jukebox room, pass under the floor again, and insert it into the outlet at ③. Then return to the jukebox room via route ④.

⑤ Part 2
One player turns the ① crank on the jukebox, then moves the ② frequency indicator to around the 8th mark and holds it there.
Meanwhile, the other player climbs onto the box on the left and grabs the ③ lamp to open the wall. Climb the ladder and head to the upper floor.

⑥ (Lady Statue Point ×2)
There is a Lady Statue on the left side of the room you land in after riding the zipline.
Pull the shoe together to create a foothold and climb up.
Outside, there is another Lady Statue in front of the ticket booth. Getting too close will turn you into stone, so destroy it with either your bow or by throwing a ball.

Use “Call” to lure the blindfolded man who is training to the blue frame location and have him break the wall.
The shooting game can only be attempted while controlling Low? (It’s unclear whether AI Low will do it when playing Alone mode.) Shoot only the targets that rise with a red mark using your bow, and ignore all others. Successfully doing this nine times in a row unlocks the Achievement “Aim for Certainty”.


⑧ (Doll Point & Lady Statue Point)
Right after the shooting game, pull the lever on the well together to descend underground.
There is a Doll beyond the denture area, and a Lady Statue above after turning the wooden ladder by jumping.
Once you reach the minecart, push the lever and observe what happens.

⑨ (Lady Statue Point)
There is a Lady Statue beneath the stairs.
Use the boxes and rooftops to reach the chimney and enter from there.


⑩ (Lady Statue Point)
After exiting the elevator, head straight to the right to find a room with a Lady Statue.
The main route continues further down the hallway.

Kin, a man in purple (hereafter referred to as Kin), and his pet doll Mini Kin (hereafter referred to as Mini Kin) are asleep, so be sure to move while staying crouched at all times.
Quickly pry off the two boards together, then dash to the right.
In the next room, hide inside the box to let Mini Kin pass, then follow through the gap it leaves behind.

⑫ Part 1
Hide at position ①, watch Mini Kin’s movements at ②, then move under the desk marked by the blue frame and head into the room on the right. Your chance is when it’s busy eating meat.
In the room on the right, perform a boost jump at ③ to pull the lever, which starts the saw and draws Kin and Mini Kin’s attention.④ Wait at this spot, then slip through the small window back into the left room when you see an opening, grab the crank at ⑤, and return to the room with the floor hatch shown in the second image of step ⑪.

⑫ Part 2 (Lady Statue Point)
Set the crank into the wall at position ⑥ and turn it, then quickly jump down through the open floor hatch.
After passing through the denture area, loop around to the left to find a hidden Lady Statue.


⑬ (Doll Point)
At the section where you cross the plank, you can drop down below. After passing through the duct there, you’ll find a room where you can pick up a Doll.
On the floor with steam blowing out of the pipes, watch the timing of the steam bursts and use the lever to move left and right, safely carrying your partner to the far right.


⑭ (Doll Point)
On the far right, look for a room marked by candlelight leaking through the doorway. Inside, you can pick up the final Doll in Carnevale.
Use the wooden crates as platforms, taking running jumps to climb up.

After you’re captured, fire the ① bow more or less at random to draw Kin’s attention, while Alone crouch-walks over to the crank at ② and turns it.
Once the cage holding The Nome is close, shoot another arrow at ③. This makes Kin and Mini Kin leave the room.
After that, climb the ladder at ④ on the left side of the room and jump several times on top of the cage to free Low. Then head to the room on the right at ⑤.

Follow the path for a while. Pick up the sausage(?) in the kitchen and give it to The Nome in the cage in the next room to unlock the achievement "Delivery".

After crawling out from under the floor, keep heading left and use a ① boosted jump to climb the ladder. Move around by following the ceiling path.
Once you reach ③, turn the crank to lower the chandelier. When your partner grabs onto the chandelier at ④, rotate the crank the other way to pull them back up so you can regroup.
Head into the room at ⑤. (Step ② is missing from the labels due to a marking error.)

⑱ (Lady Statue point)
There’s a Lady Statue on the table, so make sure to smash it.

⑲ (Lady Statue point)
Crouch-walk behind Kin while he’s watching The Nome. Stop whenever a rat runs past.
Move again when you see an opening, then take the elevator in the next room up to the higher floor. At the top, destroy the final Lady Statue.
After vaulting over the crate along the blue arrow, have one player slide down the rope to retrieve the key while the partner climbs down the ladder to regroup below.Head back to the room with the locked door.

Once you unlock the door with the key, an alarm will sound, so immediately start running.
On the way, there are a few gimmicks that require the wrench and the bow, so deal with them calmly.
When you reach the balloon, pull the lever together to lift off. Finally, Mini Kin will appear directly overhead, so pull the lever together one more time to drive it away.
