【Little Nightmares III】What Low Can Do

I’ll explain what Low, the character you control, is capable of doing.

This guide introduces Low’s main roles in the game, so if you’re unsure whether to choose Low or Alone, feel free to use this as a reference.

so please make use of it during your playthrough.

Low Can Use a Bow

Low can interact with mechanisms that are out of reach by shooting them with the bow.

He can activate switches, cut worn ropes, and attack enemies from afar, making him a character specialized in long-range actions.

How to Use the Bow

Once equipped, you can fire arrows with the right trigger button on most controllers.

When a valid target is within range, your controller will vibrate. This indicates Low has detected something—whether it's a mechanism or an enemy. If the controller is vibrating, shooting will hit something.

That said, sometimes you’ll just end up shooting a crow or a random pot nearby.

Also note that when the bow is equipped, Low can’t jump or grab, so unequip it if you need to perform those actions.

You can review basic controls through the settings menu or in this article.

Which Character Should You Choose?

You won’t have any issues clearing the game with either character.

Low specializes in long-range combat, while Alone specializes in close-range combat. Ultimately, pick whichever playstyle you prefer.

However, it seems you can’t change characters mid-progress, so choose carefully. (You can switch when selecting a chapter.)

Certain achievements unlock based on each character’s accumulated actions, so completionists will likely end up playing both characters.
