【Little Nightmares III】All Doll Locations & Where to Find Them
This guide shows every location where you can pick up Dolls in each chapter, complete with images. I also explain the benefits of collecting Dolls and what to do if you miss any along the way, so please make use of it during your playthrough. What Happens When You Collect Dolls? You’ll unlock an achievement for collecting all the Dolls in each chapter. Gathering every Doll across all chapters unlocks the achievement “Loose Threads.” Collecting them doesn’t affect story progression, but if you’re aiming for 100% completion, there’s no avoiding it. How Many Dolls Are in Each Chapter? You can check the number of Dolls from the Chapter Select screen in the main menu. TL: You can check the number here How to Make Dolls Easier to Spot They can be surprisingly easy to overlook when placed plainly in the environment, so if that’s the case, Settings → Accessibility → Highlight Items will make collectibles stand out more clearly. However, keep in mind that enabling Highlight Actionable Objects in the same Accessibility menu will also highlight gimmicks, which may make the game feel easier than intended. If you want a pure, self-driven playthrough, consider leaving it off. Efficient Ways to Collect Missed Dolls The smoothest method is to collect everything in a single run—but if that were easy, you wouldn’t be here… The real concern is whether missing a few Dolls at the end of a chapter forces you to start from scratch, right? No worries! Achievement progress seems to be tied to the game ...
【Little Nightmares III】What Alone Can Do
I’ll explain what Alone, the character you control, is capable of doing. This guide introduces Alone’s main roles in the game, so if you’re unsure whether to choose Low or Alone, feel free to use this as a reference. so please make use of it during your playthrough. For Low’s explanation, click here. Alone Can Use a Spanner Alone can use a spanner to break walls, operate mechanical devices, or strike enemies at close range. He is essentially a close-range action type. It’s not just about swinging the spanner. He needs to hit walls multiple times, insert the spanner to operate machines, and continue performing additional actions afterward. If you enjoy slightly busy gameplay, you may find this character quite appealing. How to Use the Spanner Once the spanner is equipped, most platforms allow you to attack using the right trigger button on the controller. You can also equip the spanner, grab a mechanical device, and perform the required actions according to the prompt. While the spanner is equipped, jumping and grabbing are disabled, so unequip it first if you need to perform those actions. You can check basic controls through the menu settings or via this article. Which Character Should You Choose? You won’t have any issues clearing the game with either character. Alone specializes in close-range combat, while Low specializes in long-range combat. Ultimately, pick whichever playstyle you prefer. However, it seems you can’t change characters mid-progress, so choose carefully. (You can switch when selecting a chapter.) Certain achievements unlock based on each ...
【Little Nightmares III】What Low Can Do
I’ll explain what Low, the character you control, is capable of doing. This guide introduces Low’s main roles in the game, so if you’re unsure whether to choose Low or Alone, feel free to use this as a reference. so please make use of it during your playthrough. For Alone’s explanation, click here. Low Can Use a Bow Low can interact with mechanisms that are out of reach by shooting them with the bow. He can activate switches, cut worn ropes, and attack enemies from afar, making him a character specialized in long-range actions. How to Use the Bow Once equipped, you can fire arrows with the right trigger button on most controllers. When a valid target is within range, your controller will vibrate. This indicates Low has detected something—whether it's a mechanism or an enemy. If the controller is vibrating, shooting will hit something. That said, sometimes you’ll just end up shooting a crow or a random pot nearby. Also note that when the bow is equipped, Low can’t jump or grab, so unequip it if you need to perform those actions. You can review basic controls through the settings menu or in this article. Which Character Should You Choose? You won’t have any issues clearing the game with either character. Low specializes in long-range combat, while Alone specializes in close-range combat. Ultimately, pick whichever playstyle you prefer. However, it seems you can’t change characters mid-progress, so choose carefully. (You can switch when selecting a chapter.) Certain achievements unlock based on each character’s accumulated ...
【Little Nightmares III】Control Tips & Tricks
I will explain gameplay mechanics and control techniques that the game barely touches on. I’ll introduce basic controls you’ll want to know beforehand, along with situational techniques that become useful in critical moments, so please make use of them during your playthrough. Basic Controls You Should Keep in Mind Personally, the button layout was so unfamiliar to me that it took nearly an hour to get used to it. Let’s go over the fundamental actions aside from movement. ActionSwitchPSXboxRunY□XCall PartnerX△YJump/ThrowB×AEquip Bow/WrenchA○BEquip UmbrellaRSR3RSGrab/Use Bow or WrenchR/ZRR1/R2RB/RTCrouch/SlideL/ZLL1/L2LB/LT About Calling Your Partner This becomes especially important when playing solo. There are machines and devices that only your partner can interact with, so you’ll need to call them over when required. They may sometimes operate gimmicks on their own if you move nearby, but calling them yourself makes progression much smoother. In sections with time limits or where you need to hurry, calling your partner can be essential to overcoming traps or gimmicks, so keep it in mind. It can also be used, though rarely, to lure enemies toward you. About Grabbing The word means exactly what it sounds like, but here’s a quick explanation. The comments on the right show how important each situation is. ・Pick up objects on the ground ← straightforward ・Grab doors or movable objects ← understandable ・Grab ladders to climb ← makes sense once you get used to it ・Grab ledges you can’t reach with a normal jump ← extremely important ・Hold hands with your partner and run together ← used when you must ...
