【Potion Craft】Philosopher's Salt
This article covers Philosopher's Salt, one of the Legendary Recipes in Potion Craft. It explains the Chapter where the recipe can be purchased, its effects, and key points to keep in mind when crafting it, so be sure to use this guide to help with your playthrough. Philosopher's Salt The recipe becomes available for purchase in The Alchemist's Path: Chapter Ⅹ, and can be bought from the fellow alchemist. After purchasing it, you will be able to craft it using the Advanced Alchemy Machine in the Basement. Effects It automatically moves the bottle to the nearest effect and also adjusts its tilt. As you would expect from the final Salt, it has almost cheat-like performance—but it does come with drawbacks. The initial capacity is only 5,000, which is not particularly high. In terms of consumption, reaching Heal III on the Water Map uses roughly 400–500. In other words, one full set of Philosopher’s Salt allows for movement and tilt adjustment equivalent to about 11 Heal III routes. Because it always moves toward the nearest effect via the shortest path, it will unfortunately attempt to push straight through skull walls. Since this is movement rather than teleportation, the attempt will fail if the bottle’s durability reaches zero. How to Use Pick it up from your inventory and pour it into the Cauldron. The closer you move it to the Cauldron, the faster it pours, so be careful when making fine adjustments. Tips for Crafting Tips for crafting combined potions are explained in the article below. 【Potion Craft】Life Salt
This article covers Life Salt, one of the Legendary Recipes in Potion Craft. It explains the Chapter where the recipe can be purchased, its effects, and key points to keep in mind when crafting it, so be sure to use this guide to help with your playthrough. Life Salt The recipe becomes available for purchase in The Alchemist's Path: Chapter Ⅹ, and can be bought from the fellow alchemist. After purchasing it, you will be able to craft it using the Advanced Alchemy Machine in the Basement. Effects It restores the bottle’s durability that is lost when touching skull walls. As you might expect, having Life Salt allows you to push through even thick skull walls without hesitation. However, considering the cost required to craft this salt, it is not recommended for regular use. The initial capacity is only 5,000, and using it too freely will quickly lead to depletion. Once you can mass-produce it through batch brewing with an optimized recipe, the situations where it can be used effectively will increase significantly. How to Use Pick it up from your inventory and pour it into the Cauldron. The closer you move it to the Cauldron, the faster it pours, so be careful when making fine adjustments. Tips for Crafting Tips for crafting combined potions are explained in the article below. 【Potion Craft】Sun Salt
This article covers Sun Salt, one of the Legendary Recipes in Potion Craft. It explains the Chapter where the recipe can be purchased, its effects, and key points to keep in mind when crafting it, so be sure to use this guide to help with your playthrough. Sun Salt The recipe becomes available for purchase in The Alchemist's Path: Chapter Ⅸ, and can be bought from the fellow alchemist. After purchasing it, you will be able to craft it using the Advanced Alchemy Machine in the Basement. Effects It has the effect of tilting the bottle clockwise. Many rare effect nodes near the outer edges of the Water Map, as well as most effect nodes on the Oil Map, are tilted. By matching that tilt using Sun Salt, you can enhance them to Level II and III. If the bottle is tilted to the right, Sun Salt is a good fit. However, if the tilt is to the left, its clockwise nature becomes a drawback, as it ends up consuming more salt. Conversely, if you have Moon Salt, which tilts the bottle counterclockwise, you can efficiently handle left-leaning recipes. It is essential for crafting higher-tier Legendary Substances and various Salts. Consumption is 500 when tilted straight downward, and 1,000 for a full rotation. The initial capacity is 20,000. (This can be increased through Talents.) The Ingredient’s Path Also Tilts You can forcibly bend the ingredient’s path like this. However, there are three important points to keep in mind. ① The bottle’s tilt gradually returns to ...
【Potion Craft】Moon Salt
This article covers Moon Salt, one of the Legendary Recipes in Potion Craft. It explains the Chapter where the recipe can be purchased, its effects, and key points to keep in mind when crafting it, so be sure to use this guide to help with your playthrough. Moon Salt The recipe becomes available for purchase in The Alchemist's Path: Chapter Ⅶ, and can be bought from the fellow alchemist. After purchasing it, you will be able to craft it using the Advanced Alchemy Machine in the Basement. Effects It has the effect of tilting the bottle counterclockwise. Many rare effect nodes near the outer edges of the Water Map, as well as most effect nodes on the Oil Map, are tilted. By matching that tilt using Moon Salt, you can enhance them to Level II and III. If the bottle is tilted to the left, Moon Salt is a good fit. However, if the tilt is to the right, its counterclockwise nature becomes a drawback, as it ends up consuming more salt. Conversely, if you have Sun Salt, which tilts the bottle clockwise, you can efficiently handle right-leaning recipes. However, since there is a gap before you can craft Sun Salt after unlocking Moon Salt, there are situations where you may still aim for rare effects using Moon Salt despite the inefficiency. It is essential for crafting higher-tier Legendary Substances and various Salts. Consumption is 500 when tilted straight downward, and 1,000 for a full rotation. The initial capacity is 10,000. (This can be increased ...
【Potion Craft】Void Salt
This article covers Void Salt, one of the Legendary Recipes in Potion Craft. It explains the Chapter where the recipe can be purchased, its effects, and key points to keep in mind when crafting it, so be sure to use this guide to help with your playthrough. Void Salt The recipe becomes available for purchase in The Alchemist's Path: Chapter V, and can be bought from the fellow alchemist. After purchasing it, you will be able to craft it using the Advanced Alchemy Machine in the Basement. Effects It has the effect of gradually erasing the length of an ingredient from its tip. This can be used to correct over-grinding an ingredient, or to erase the path it took before grinding, making it useful when you are missing a specific short-distance ingredient path. That said, if you over-grind an ingredient, you can simply return it from the mortar back to the ingredient slot and start over. And if you only realize you need adjustments after adding it to the Cauldron, it’s often better to just reload your save rather than use Void Salt. Once you save a recipe that uses Void Salt, it will be consumed every time you use that recipe afterward, so this is another point to keep in mind. While you do need to craft Void Salt to progress The Alchemist's Path, in practice it doesn’t see much use. How to Use Pick it up from your inventory and pour it into the Cauldron. The closer you move it to the Cauldron, ...
【Potion Craft】Talents Explained
This guide explains Talents in Potion Craft. It covers recommended Talents, along with key considerations and tips to keep in mind when learning them, so be sure to use this guide to help with your playthrough. There Are Three Talent Categories 【Trading】【Gardening】【Alchemy】, each of which applies its effects to a different area. Trading Category This category focuses on increasing gold and reducing expenses. Rather than simply raising potion selling prices, it includes many Talents that significantly improve negotiations with merchants and customers, expand the range of deals available with merchants, and enhance aspects related to shop reputation—true to its name, these Talents are all about improving your business. Gardening Category This category focuses on various aspects related to the Enchanted Garden. In addition to increasing material harvest yields and speeding up growth, it also includes some surprisingly interesting Talents that even allow you to earn gold. Alchemy Category This category is related to potion brewing. While it has fewer branches, it includes many Talents that are quietly useful. Early-Game Talent Recommendations Everyone has their own playstyle, so think of this more as a set of suggestions. No matter which Talents you choose to learn, you won’t end up stuck later on, so feel free to approach this casually. Recommended Trading Talents Early on, when your popularity level is low, potion selling prices are also low. Even if you increase the selling price by a few percent at that stage, it won’t make a significant difference yet. Because of this, focusing exclusively on 【Trading】 Talents has ...
【Potion Craft】What to Do in the Enchanted Garden
This guide explains the Enchanted Garden in Potion Craft. It covers watering ingredients, harvesting and planting, as well as how to unlock features such as the Pond and the Cave, so use this guide to help with your playthrough. The Main Source of Ingredients In the Enchanted Garden, herbs, mushrooms, and crystals can be cultivated and harvested as ingredients. At the beginning, the variety of ingredients that can be grown in the Enchanted Garden is limited. However, this gradually expands through progression, such as: • Fulfilling potion requests from merchants – unlocks new Plants. • Fulfilling potion requests for the Builder – expands the Garden’s facilities. Also, in the Talent’s gardening section, ・Herb Planting ・Mushroom Planting ・Cave Herbs ・Underwater Growing ・Crystal Planting ・Truffle Growing are essential for cultivation, so at the very least, you should learn Herb Planting and Mushroom Planting early on. Plant Growth Stages Aim for Maturity as Days Pass Plants purchased from merchants will mature after the number of days specified by their Growing Stage. : If the Growing Stage is 1/5, it will take 5 days to reach maturity. Crystal-type Plants take 9 days. Once mature, they can be harvested every day. Once you are able to harvest even once, you can obtain the same material every day thereafter, which is extremely convenient. Daily Watering Is Required Try not to forget. Materials that require Underwater Growing and Crystal-type Plants do not need watering. A water icon is displayed, making it easy to tell, but if you skip watering, you won’t be ...
【Potion Craft】How to Deal with Additional Requests
This guide explains how to handle additional requests in Potion Craft, such as extra effects or specific ingredient requirements requested by customers. Use this guide to help with your playthrough. What Are Additional Requests? As the game progresses, customers will start adding special requests to their potion orders. Additional Request The exclamation mark (!) indicates a mandatory condition. If this requirement is not met, the customer will not buy the potion, even if the main effect is correct. The plus sign (+) means “if possible.” Meeting this condition increases the selling price, but the potion can still be sold even if it is not fulfilled. When all requests are fulfilled When a potion that meets the additional request conditions is placed on the scale, check marks will appear as shown in the image above, making it easy to confirm. Adding Required Ingredients Is Very Simple Requests that say “Please add ○○” can be handled by opening the potion’s recipe and resuming it with “Continue Brewing From Here”. Simply add the specified ingredient to the Cauldron and finish brewing to complete the request. Additional Requests Do Not Always Need to Be Fulfilled At times, additional requests may feel overly demanding or not worth the effort. In such cases, it is perfectly acceptable to end the conversation and decline the order. While Popularity and Reputation will decrease slightly, a single decline can usually be recovered through subsequent customers. The talent skill [Charisma] can also reduce the amount of Popularity lost. Orders that are not worth handling can ...
【Potion Craft】How to Create Legendary Recipes
This guide covers Legendary Recipes, one of the key progression tasks in Potion Craft. It explains the key points for crafting everything from Nigredo to the Philosopher’s Stone, as well as their uses. Use this guide to help with your playthrough. Purchasing Parts for the Advanced Alchemy Machine Legendary Recipes and Legendary Substances are crafted using the Advanced Alchemy Machine located in the basement of the alchemist’s house. The machine is initially broken and cannot be used, but it can be repaired by purchasing parts from fellow alchemists during The Alchemist’s Path: Chapter III. There is no need to purchase recipes for Legendary Substances. By crafting them sequentially starting from the initial Nigredo, additional recipes are gradually unlocked all the way up to the Philosopher’s Stone. After the initial repair, the Advanced Alchemy Machine requires two further upgrades, which can be quite costly. Be sure to negotiate the price. Used as Materials for Salts Legendary Substances crafted in this way are used as materials for Salts, which are essential for brewing high-value potions. Legendary Substances are also used as materials for higher-tier Legendary Substances. For example, creating Albedo requires Nigredo, and crafting the higher-tier Citrinitas requires Albedo. In short, Legendary Substances are not something you craft just once and forget. Even Nigredo alone will likely be crafted around ten times, so it is strongly recommended to save these recipes properly. In addition, unlocking the talent skill Bulk Brewing allows a percentage of ingredients and Salts to be refunded when using batch brewing (crafting five potions ...
