【Potion Craft】Merchant Overview

This guide explains the merchants that appear in Potion Craft. It also covers the items they sell, as well as only the correct potions required for more difficult inventory expansion requests. Use this guide to help with your playthrough. Ingredients and Items Can Be Purchased from Merchants In the early game, the ingredients obtained from your garden alone are far from sufficient for potion brewing. By purchasing ingredients, seeds to plant in the Enchanted Garden, and garden upgrades from visiting merchants, you can work toward crafting higher-tier potions and improving your recipes. In addition to ingredients, merchants also sell Enchanted Paper for the Recipe Book, Legendary Substances, and Advanced Alchemy Machines used in crafting, so it’s recommended to purchase them when needed. While it’s not a major source of income on its own, you can also sell unnecessary items and potions. With the right skills and approach, this can grow into a significant way to earn money. You can negotiate prices when buying and selling, and unlike negotiations with customers, there are no drawbacks, so there’s little reason not to negotiate. The Alchemist’s Friend This merchant sells Enchanted Paper for the Recipe Book, Legendary Recipe–related items, and Advanced Alchemy Machine Parts. The visit schedule varies, but this merchant always appears at the top of the list on days they visit. (More of a fellow alchemist than just a “friend.”) The Mushroom Elder This merchant sells Mushroom-type ingredients. He visits once every two to three days and usually appears around the middle of the day. Orders ...

【Potion Craft】Techniques for Crafting Combined Potions

This guide explains how to create potions with multiple Effects in Potion Craft, along with practical tips. Use this guide to help with your playthrough. How to Create Combined Potions A Combined Potion is, as the name suggests, a potion that has multiple Effects applied. These are mainly created to fulfill customer orders, or when using Salt and Legendary Substances. The total number of Effects that can be applied to a single potion is capped at five slots, calculated based on Effect Levels (Ⅰ–Ⅲ). Step-by-Step Method After applying an Effect using the Bellows, you do not finish the potion; instead, you continue moving across the map to apply additional Effects. If the limit is exceeded, older Effects are removed and replaced by newly applied ones. Start with , then apply to create . After that, apply to reach a state like . The process works by filling the slots step by step from right to left. Resume from a saved Recipe For example, when creating the Combined Potion required for Sun Salt shown above, you can resume from either or , return to the center by adding Base, and then pick up the other Effect. The order does not matter, so there’s no need to worry about that. Using is also perfectly fine. However, in many cases it’s easier to take advantage of the overwrite mechanic and resume from Continue brewing from here in the Recipe Book, rather than starting from scratch. That said, there are also cases where planning the route from scratch, rather ...

【Potion Craft】How to Use Bellows and Whirlpool Effectively

This guide explains how to use Bellows and Whirlpool in Potion Craft. It covers special movement and warp mechanics in detail. Use this guide to help with your playthrough. What Bellows and Whirlpool Can Do In fact, Bellows are not used solely to complete potions. By making good use of these techniques, you can often discover routes that may seem impossible at first glance. Stepping on the Bellows Rotates the Whirlpool A Whirlpool is a mechanism placed throughout the Alchemy Map. ← This is what it refers to. When the bottle touches the rotating Whirlpool, it moves along with the flow of the Whirlpool. As the bottle moves, its route changes accordingly, allowing you to aim for specific positions to pass through Effect areas or avoid skeleton walls. Warp to a Fixed Position If you keep operating the Bellows until the bottle is fully drawn into the Whirlpool, it will warp to a fixed destination. This technique helps you discover shorter routes and reduce ingredient usage. The warp destination is fixed for each individual Whirlpool, so there is no randomness involved. Whirlpool Mechanics • A Whirlpool becomes active (able to be affected by the Bellows) once the bottle approaches it and the color deepens. • A clockwise-rotating Whirlpool gradually pulls the bottle toward its center. Because of these characteristics, it’s good to keep them in mind. If your goal is only to move along the outer edge of the Whirlpool, it’s recommended to press the Bellows gently and in small increments. Even if a Whirlpool ...

【Potion Craft】How to Make a Strong Potion

This guide explains how to make Strong Potions in Potion Craft. It is written for beginners, so it is especially useful if you are just starting the game. Use this guide to help with your playthrough. How to Make a Strong Potion The closer the bottle is placed to the Effect circle on the Alchemy Map, the stronger the potion will be. If the bottle is positioned fully inside the circle, you will obtain a Level III Strong Potion. Positioning for a Weak effect (Level I) Positioning for a normal effect (Level II) Positioning for a Strong effect (Level III) Strong Potions sell for a higher price and generate more profit, so unless a specific effect level is requested, it is generally better to craft and sell Strong Potions. In most cases, Strong Potions can be made by fine-tuning the position using Base items such as Water or Salt. Situations where you aim to land exactly on Level III using stirring alone are extremely rare. (Not impossible, but rare.) Add Base Fine-Tuning Technique Ladle By adding Base using the Ladle shown in the red-framed area in the image above, the bottle’s current position is pulled back toward the starting point at the center of the map. For example, as shown in the image below, even if you cannot stop exactly at the Level III position by stirring alone, move the bottle to the position marked with “Aim here”, and then add Base. This allows you to finish the potion at the Strong Potion position. In ...
