What Happens When You Hug a Nome?

They are small white fairy-like creatures that appear only in the first half of Carnevale.
You can hug them using the grab button, and if you collect all 6, you will unlock the Achievement “Home Sweet Nome”.
They do not affect game progression, but you’ll need to find them if you are aiming for 100% completion.

Nome Hug Locations

When you flip the wall switch with the wrench, a Nome will appear carrying a fuse in this room.
Turn it ON with the wrench→
Nome will bring you a fuse↑

Outside, just after taking the first elevator in Carnevale.
You can find it behind the ladder.

After you clear the control-button puzzle and return, you can find it in the outdoor plaza.

After climbing the chain, enter the room on the far right where a Doll is placed, and pull out the drawer to make a Nome run away.
Head along the main route to the next room and you’ll find it collapsed and ready for a hug.

In the piano room, if you walk across the keys ①, a Nome will jump out of the hidden door ②–③ but quickly collapses.

You can find it in the front-left corner of the room where the man is collapsed on the floor.
