This guide explains the merchants that appear in Potion Craft.
It also covers the items they sell, as well as only the correct potions required for more difficult inventory expansion requests.
Use this guide to help with your playthrough.
Ingredients and Items Can Be Purchased from Merchants
In the early game, the ingredients obtained from your garden alone are far from sufficient for potion brewing.
By purchasing ingredients, seeds to plant in the Enchanted Garden, and garden upgrades from visiting merchants, you can work toward crafting higher-tier potions and improving your recipes.
In addition to ingredients, merchants also sell Enchanted Paper for the Recipe Book, Legendary Substances, and Advanced Alchemy Machines used in crafting, so it’s recommended to purchase them when needed.
While it’s not a major source of income on its own, you can also sell unnecessary items and potions. With the right skills and approach, this can grow into a significant way to earn money.
You can negotiate prices when buying and selling, and unlike negotiations with customers, there are no drawbacks, so there’s little reason not to negotiate.
The Alchemist’s Friend

This merchant sells Enchanted Paper for the Recipe Book, Legendary Recipe–related items, and Advanced Alchemy Machine Parts.
The visit schedule varies, but this merchant always appears at the top of the list on days they visit.
(More of a fellow alchemist than just a “friend.”)
The Mushroom Elder

This merchant sells Mushroom-type ingredients.
He visits once every two to three days and usually appears around the middle of the day.

The Mining Dwarf

This merchant sells rare and expensive ore-based ingredients.
He appears infrequently, visiting roughly once every four to five days.
There are few situations early on where ores are required, so purchasing them is not essential at the start. However, buying some in advance can be worthwhile if the price is low and funds allow.
From the mid-game onward, ores become useful for reaching rare potions located near the outer edges of the map, making it beneficial to have them on hand.
