【Potion Craft】Void Salt

This article covers Void Salt, one of the Legendary Recipes in Potion Craft.

It explains the Chapter where the recipe can be purchased, its effects, and key points to keep in mind when crafting it, so be sure to use this guide to help with your playthrough.

Void Salt

The recipe becomes available for purchase in The Alchemist's Path: Chapter V, and can be bought from the fellow alchemist.

After purchasing it, you will be able to craft it using the Advanced Alchemy Machine in the Basement.

Effects

It has the effect of gradually erasing the length of an ingredient from its tip.

This can be used to correct over-grinding an ingredient, or to erase the path it took before grinding, making it useful when you are missing a specific short-distance ingredient path.

That said, if you over-grind an ingredient, you can simply return it from the mortar back to the ingredient slot and start over. And if you only realize you need adjustments after adding it to the Cauldron, it’s often better to just reload your save rather than use Void Salt.

Once you save a recipe that uses Void Salt, it will be consumed every time you use that recipe afterward, so this is another point to keep in mind.

While you do need to craft Void Salt to progress The Alchemist's Path, in practice it doesn’t see much use.

How to Use

Pick it up from your inventory and pour it into the Cauldron.

The closer you move it to the Cauldron, the faster it pours, so be careful when making fine adjustments.

Tips for Crafting

Tips for crafting combined potions are explained in the article below.

are involved.

There is no concept of order when creating combined potions, so you can start from any effect without issue.

A route like →return to the center→ works just fine, but you are completely free to choose any route.

By the way, this exact same potion is also used for the Philosopher’s Stone, so saving the recipe can make things a bit easier later on.

Don’t Forget to Save the Recipe

You can save the recipe for the salt itself once the brewing process is complete, rather than the potion recipes used during crafting, so make sure to have the recipe page open.

If you learn the Talent Salt Specialist in advance, the amount of salt produced will increase, making it highly recommended.

Having the Talent 【Bulk Brewing】 will also refund a portion of the materials consumed during your next brewing session.
