Branch Requirements
If you progress through the game to the final section while meeting the four conditions above, the story will branch into this Ending. Simply continue through to the end to unlock it.
“Ebisugaoka in Silence” Branching Chart
① View two or more Endings.
② Do not use the Red Capsule.
③ Obtain the Sacred Sword and purify it of its grudge.
④ Offer the Brooch at the Jizo Statue.
Each condition is explained in detail below.
Branch Chart
① View two or more Endings
There is a high possibility that the UFO Ending does not count as one of the required two Endings.
There is also uncertainty regarding whether the Normal Ending is included. This point has not been clearly confirmed.
If you want to ensure that this Ending triggers without fail, it is safest to view the following two Endings beforehand:
This behavior is likely the intended specification. Watching these two Endings first also prevents the moment in the Ebisugaoka in Silence route where you might find yourself thinking, “Who is this character?” during the climax.
② Do not use the Red Capsule
Do not use it until you clear the game. Discard it from your inventory.
Right after you escape from the fog monster in front of Chizuruya Store, you might be tempted to use it, but you’ll find Bandages a little further ahead, so make do with those instead.
If you enter the shed behind Shu’s house without ever using the Red Capsule and progress the event, you’ll unlock an Achievement. (Make sure you do not pick up the Red Capsule inside the shed.)
③ Obtain the Sacred Sword and purify it of its grudge
It’s unfortunate, but shortly before the final section of the game, you’ll have to weaken the Sacred Sword — the strongest weapon — by purifying it.
But don’t worry. We still have the kitchen knife, after all.
Oh, and just to be clear — do NOT pick up Agura no Hotei-sama in the Hermitage of Crimson Water.
④ Offer the Brooch at the Jizo Statue
Offer the Brooch to the Jizo Statue on your way back from Iwashimizu to the Shimizu Residence.

After doing so, the Inari-sama Door in Treasure Hall cannot be opened for that playthrough, but it will be available again in your next New Game.
Game Progression Changes After Branching
Once you begin the “Ebisugaoka in Silence” ending route, the item placements and puzzle content in both the Shimizu Residence and the Treasure Hall will change.
Changes in the Shimizu Residence
Puzzle: “Scale”
You’ll notice that the theme of this Ending revolves around Hinako beginning to assert her own will.
Therefore, the correct solution is to place Hinako’s doll separately from the other four.
Location of the Yellowed Calendar
You can pick it up in Hinako’s room on the Shimizu Residence (2) map.

Puzzle: “Ominous Photo”
The puzzle prompt has changed, so make sure to check it carefully.
Everyone except Hinako is upside down.
Puzzle: “My Room”
It was a bit tricky.

Changes in the Treasure Hall
Puzzle ”Mural”
I cleared it by pure instinct and reflex.
