Branch Requirements
If you progress through the game up to the final section while meeting all three conditions above, the story will branch into this Ending. Simply continue to the end to unlock it.
“Fox’s Wedding” Branching Chart
① Do not use the Red Capsule.
② Purify the Sacred Sword of its grudge, or never obtain it.
③ Obtain the Agura no Hotei-sama.
Each condition is explained in detail below.
Branch Chart
① Do not use the Red Capsule
Do not use it until you clear the game. Discard it from your inventory.
Right after you escape from the fog monster in front of Chizuruya Store, you might be tempted to use it, but you’ll find Bandages a little further ahead, so make do with those instead.
If you enter the shed behind Shu’s house without ever using the Red Capsule and progress the event, you’ll unlock an Achievement. (Make sure you do not pick up the Red Capsule inside the shed.)
② Purify the Sacred Sword of its grudge, or never obtain it
Starting from your second playthrough, you can obtain a hidden weapon called the Sacred Sword by clearing the puzzle【Legend of the Sacred Sword】.
You will meet this branching condition either by never obtaining the Sacred Sword or by obtaining it and purifying its grudge.

③ Obtain the Agura no Hotei-sama
You can obtain this item from the desk inside the Shrine located in the new area of the Main Hall, known as the Hermitage of Crimson Water.
Remove the wall using Focus, then proceed through the Inari-sama Door to reach the Hermitage of Crimson Water.

Game Progression Changes After Branching
Once you begin the “Fox’s Wedding” ending route, the item placements and puzzle content in both the Shimizu Residence and the Treasure Hall will change.
Changes in the Shimizu Residence
Puzzle: “Scale”
I didn’t really understand the logic, but fiddling around led me to this as the correct solution.
Location of the Yellowed Calendar
You can pick it up in Hinako’s room on the Shimizu Residence (2) map.
Puzzle: “Ominous Photo”
The puzzle prompt has been changed, so make sure to check it carefully.
Everyone except the Shimizu family members appears upside down. Very simple.
Puzzle: “My Room”
This one was straightforward.

Puzzle ”Mural”
You’ll only struggle when choosing between the two options inside the basket.
