This page summarizes all New Game+ features and elements unlocked after completing the game for the first time.
Use this guide to assist you throughout your playthrough.
Post-Clear Additions Overview
Major Additions
・New Game+ becomes available
・You can use the Inari-sama Door to unlock rooms and box
・A new difficulty for combat and puzzles, “Lost in Fog”, can be selected
・You can acquire and use hidden weapons
・Four additional endings become available
Each of these will be explained in detail below.
New Game+ and Changes
You can start your second playthrough by loading the save data created after your first clear.

Although you will begin from the very start again, the following elements carry over:
・Faith you have accumulated
・Omamori and Ema already in your possession
・The current enhancement level of your Pray
・Journal Entrys you picked up (excluding key items tied to story progression or puzzle hints)
With these carried over, you will begin the game in a far stronger state than Hinako during her first playthrough.
General Changes
New items and areas become available that were inaccessible in the first playthrough
Certain areas open up, new weapons appear, and items related to ending routes and Achievements are added.
Locations where you previously found Omamori or Ema now have offering items placed in their stead.
Puzzle contents and key item placements are slightly altered
Regardless of difficulty, the puzzles from the Shimizu Residence to the Treasure Hall are adjusted for the branching endings. We also confirmed that some key items have been relocated.
However, the changes are minor. They are nowhere near difficult enough to halt your progress, so there’s no need to worry.
Details on the altered puzzles and item changes are explained in the articles covering each ending’s unlock conditions.
Inari-sama Door and Box

You can now open doors and boxes like the ones shown above, which were inaccessible during your first playthrough.
This is an effect of the Inari-sama Brooch received from the fox-masked man near the end of your first run.
The items obtained from these locations include Ema and a Journal Entry called “Diary of Revenge”. Collecting all of them unlocks an Achievement.

Difficulty: Lost in the Fog
You can select this difficulty for both Action and Puzzles before starting your second playthrough.
Lost in the Fog - Puzzles
When triggered during certain routes, puzzles become significantly more difficult. The mechanics remain the same, but the tasks and hints are far more cryptic.
However, the real headache only lasts in the early game. The “lost in the fog” feeling gradually fades toward the later sections.
Lost in the Fog - Action
Even regular enemies can shave off 40–60% of your HP in a single hit. Their health also seems slightly increased.
The real danger lies in the massive damage taken from ambushes.
“Wait… wasn’t this area empty?”
You'll think that as you walk forward—only for an enemy to leap out from a barely visible shadow.
If you heal every time you get surprise-attacked, you’ll run out of Bandage and First Aid Kits in no time. That’s how punishing this difficulty can be.
It’s not recommended to start your second run on this difficulty. Memorize enemy ambush points first, then take it on during your third playthrough when you have strong Omamori, hidden weapons, and Pray upgrades.
Hidden Weapons
Sacred Sword
You can obtain this weapon by completing the extensive puzzle “Legend of the Sacred Sword”, which spans from the start of your second playthrough up to Sugisato (after Shu’s family home).
Its performance as a weapon is more than sufficient, but it also functions as a key item tied to specific ending branches.

PP-8001
This comedic weapon becomes available starting from your next playthrough after obtaining the ending “The Great Space Invasion!”.

The Four Endings
From your second playthrough onward, the story branches into four different endings.
Witness each conclusion and see what fate awaits Hinako and the others.
