The higher your remaining weapon durability, the more damage you deal.
When Wolf Is Most Useful
Damage Increases When Conditions Are Met
Its appeal lies in how easily you can boost your damage under simple conditions.
If you equip it while using a freshly obtained weapon as your main one, you’ll benefit immediately. And once the weapon’s durability drops, repairing it with a Tool Kit will let you regain the bonus again.

【Crab】
Weapon durability does not decrease while in Focus.
From Draw Omamori
While in Focus, your weapon’s durability will not decrease no matter what you do — even when guarding.
This means you can maintain high durability at all times, allowing the effect of Wolf to stay active permanently. It’s fantastic.
And although this is supposed to be a section about Wolf, I’ll say it anyway: Crab is easily one of the top five strongest Omamori in the entire game. I’ve probably said this in several places already, so if you see me repeating it somewhere, just ignore it. (I welcome all disagreements.)
